The Fate of the Konor System lies in your hands! Will it fall to the Mad Plagues of Chaos or will the Imperium cleanse it and stand fast against the dark? Only you can help decide where the Warhammer 40K story goes next!
The Fate of Konor Campaign will extend from July 29th through September 9th. You can find full details on the story at the Warhammer 40k Site HERE
The actual battle campaigns will begin Saturday August 5th and be played every Saturday at the Lair till the last on September 9th.
Every Saturday beginning on August 5th will feature a battle for the Konor System on a different planet within the system.
The planets are Astramis, Nethamus, Loebos, Drenthal, Vanitor & Konor. Every planet will have specialized rules and goals that won’t be revealed till the Monday before.
Details on the upcoming Planet and mission can be found HERE
If a player cannot make it into the Lair to play on the Saturday, they will have till the next Wednesday to schedule, play and turn in the results of a make up game for that Planet.
The only exception to this rule is September 2nd which will be the final battle of the campaign and will be a large scale multiplayer Apocalypse style game.
At the end of the campaign the collected prize pool will be divided by standing among the players of the winning faction.
Each player will have to register for either Chaos or Imperials before participating in the Campaign
The side chosen will only determine which side the player will playing for and therefore which side they will be earning points for and who their potential pool of opponents will be.
The side chosen does not affect army choice.
The Various Chaos and Imperial armies are not the only ones playable during the campaign. Playing a Xeno Army, IE everyone but Chaos and or Imperials, allows you to take points away from your opposed faction rather than win points for your own. Example: A Chaos aligned player uses a Tyranid army, the points they earn are not added to the Chaos pool but instead deducted from the Imperial pool.
The only standard rule regarding army size or viable units is that both players playing must agree to an even match. This means that both players agree to use either the points system or the power level system and that they will be fielding armies of equal strength against one another.
While the order or specifics of the planets is not known each week does feature a Theme which will allow you to earn double points for your faction by playing with the appropriate models. The schedule of themes is as follows.
August 5th: Elites
August 12th: Vehicles
August 19th: Psykers
August 26th: Fast Attack/Flyers
September 2nd: Scenery/Lords of War
September 9th: Space Marines
Playing in the battles is also not the only way to earn points for your faction. By building, and/or painting and showcasing models to us at the Lair that were built and/or painted during the time period of the campaign, from July 29th through September 9th, you can earn points for your faction. Points earned this way are also subject to double point bonuses by following the themes scheduled above.
Finally there is also all sorts of sweet swag to be earned throughout the campaign by completing collectors cards and/or participating in the various events.
Seize your chance to affect the story of the Warhammer 40K universe! Only you can decide the Fate of the Konor System!
